Recently, in response to customer requests, a static "Call Us Anytime" bar/button across was added to our site across the top that, when clicked, prompts the user to call our main switchboard
Curious: Does anybody have any thoughts about this type of placement / or research into this type of static placement of a "Call Us" button on a mobile site (Fig. 1)?
Note how the main menu interacts in mobile, too. (Fig. 2).
I'd welcome any thoughts/insights into the pros/cons of this type of placement.
